With its fully stocked salad bar, wealth of excellent sandwich selections, flavorful pizzettas, delicious hearty soups and ever-changing antipasti bar, Mangia Organics is an ideal midtown lunch destination. Mangia Organics is also very vegan-friendly, offering soup, antipasti, sandwich and pastry options. On top of all that Mangia Organics is home to a fully stocked fresh organic juice bar and offers an array of coffee beverages made with organic coffee. There is truly something fresh and delicious for everyone at Mangia Organics.
I think the juice was made the day before. Packaging was bad. Delivery estimate was 35 to 50 minutes and it took 95 minutes. I called to inquire and they made no apology.

Their half-sandwich & soup combo is still one of the best deals in Midtown and their buffet is always great (it took so much NOT to get cheese & peas when I was there earlier), if not a little pricey. For organic though, it's understandable to pay a little more. Service is also friendly and very efficient, although there are rare lapses (hence, 4 stars and not 5). I ordered a $5 banana lassi, mostly because it's rare to find banana lassi anywhere, but I received mango instead without being notified (note that this was a pick-up order). Though their mango lassi is decent, I could've easily gotten better, thicker, yummier, AND cheaper lassi nearby for $2 less. Still great though and I come back regularly!

quick delivery, great food, and fabulous customer service. They easily accomodated a sandwich order without bell peppers!

This place goes in my good books! The delivery guy was courteous and on time, the food was delicious and in plentiful proportions. No complaints here!

An hour and a half for a smoothie and sandwich. Smoothie was not cold not warm but hot....disgusting

The sandwich I ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. The chicken and the bread were top quality. Delivery was about 45 minutes but it was prime lunchtime. Worth the wait.

So delicious! But their delivery takes forever--I've waited three hours before.

I waited over an hour for an egg sandwhich, orange juice and greek yogurt. The sandwhich wascold, had no taste and the sausage was hard and old tasting. They also forgot to bring my orange juice. I paid close to $20 for all of this non-sense. Will never be ordering from or eating at Mangia again!

unreal! I have never seen anything this lousy in my life... Worst salad of my life.
Posted 5 months ago by avi c.
I eat here about 3 times/week, because they have organic food. Otherwise, it is hit or miss. My most recent order was a make your own salad. You pay for each ingredient, and they completely omitted the sesame seeds ($.75) and only gave me 1 piece of a black, rotted avacado (which costs $1.50 extra!)
Although the food is usually tasty, there is no way to know just how much of the food is organic. The past few times I got the butternut squash soup I found lots of extremely hard pieces of mystery stuff that I almost chipped my tooth on. So besides the soup and salads, it's ok.

Horrible delivery. Do not waste your time.

Took 1.5 hours.

Once again screwed up my order, This is the last time I order from Mangia. I ordered the Telera sandwich which is basically grilled chicken and avacado, and I was given toasted turkey with avacado. I don't know how something so simple as the meat itself can be screwed up. Stay away from Mangia!

The Margharita is the worst pizza I have ever had. The sauce looks and tastes like Classico pasta sauce, and far too much was applied---when the pizza arrived the crust was limp and soggy.
Posted 8 months ago by Christopher L.
Ugh, this pizza was terrible. Barely any cheese, mostly just zucchini on soggy pita bread. And the delivery took forever.

The food is good, the place is disorganized and the staff is rude. I ordered something at 6:30pm, delivery said 35-50 minutes, and someone called me at 7:25pm in a very rude voice asking what my address was. I explained it to him and then the food never showed. I called them back at 7:4pm to ask where my food was and he said its almost there you are probably the last delivery should be there any minute. I called at 7:55pm to ask where it was and he said “do you want it or not, it will be another 10-15 mintues” I expressed that I was not happy with that because I had to leave by 8pm so he hung up on me. I called back and he says in a very rude voice “We are really backed up, do you want it or not” I said I don’t, I have to leave so cancel it and I just left hungry.

The ONLY reason I'm giving this place a 2 is because the food was not that bad (not the best either). When I called to make sure the chicken was organic, the manager insisted it was, and that he would make the best kebab, that would melt in my mouth. He told me he would have it to me in 30 mins. I had to call 3 different times just to see if I was getting my food, and an hour later, a delivery guy (who did not apologize and was rude) handed me my food. When I opened it, it was cold, soggy--AND THE WRONG ORDER! I called back, complained. One person said they will have someone come and pick up the old order and provide a new one (who insisted he was the manager) and then I finally spoke to the actual manager who said he would hand deliver a new order. He never offered a refund which was what I simply wanted after all of this--I was not interested in waiting another hour for them to deliver food. If you are looking to eat TODAY, try somewhere else.

I can't speak for the food. But delivery time sucks.

I WOULD RATE THIS LOWER IF POSSIBLE. I ordered the Anchari Kebab, and the chicken was absolutely raw in the middle. It looked good, but was completely raw. I called to get a new one, and the owner was horrible on the phone. He offered to bring me another one tomorrow, and when I told him I needed dinner for tonight, he said "Come on buddy we close down at 8!" extremely rudely, like I did something wrong by wanting to actually eat. I asked him to refund the money for the sandwich (as if I care since it was an expensed meal) and he said the computer was shut down so all he could do was bring me a new one tomorrow. I told him I was going to write a bad review, and he said "Listen I'll refund, plus one dollar!" like he was doing me a favor. Salad also had partially brown, clearly not fresh lettuce. Can't imagine what this place actually looks like in person... sorry I ordered from here.

I wish I could talk about the food, but I've been waiting for two hours and it still hasn't arrived. Will never order from here again. I would give it zero stars if that were an option.

I've ordered 3 or 4 times now and each time the delivery time has been acceptable - @ 30-35 mins. I usually tip $5 - figure the delivery guys live on that so maybe that helps to speed things up.

I am SO over this place! Again, my order took TWO hours... ridiculous - for an omelet and espresso! Their service has gone wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down.

Always late: the food is ok but only order if you have a lot of time. The few times I have made the mistake of ordering from here, the time to deliver has listed around 30-50 minutes, and each time delivery took 90-150 minutes. Also each time I called to check up on my food after 60-90 minutes and it was assured it would be there soon only to have to wait another half hour to an hour. I am not the only person at my company who has had this problem. It would be one thing if they listed delivery times as 90 minutes and deliverd in 90 minutes, but to list as 40 and take 120 is simply unacceptable to me.

Food was great, delivery was awful! Delivery guy gave half of our food order to some random person in the building and it took us an hour to track it down. When I called, they blamed us and didn't even offer an apology!

Twice now, my order has taken more than TWO HOURS to arrive and was stone cold when it got to me. When I called the restaurant, the management didn't care and just said, "it's on its way." There are plenty of options in the area, I urge you to choose one of them and steer clear of Mangia Organics.

I received the Hot telera sandwich, and when it arrived (40 min instead of the estimated 50-60 minutes which is a plus), but the sandwich was not warm, AND the avodaco was missing. I'm pretty sure the avocado is a hefty percentage price of the sandwich, and it was not even included. Very disappointed.

Ordered from them for the first time and I will not be ordering from them again. Ordered a panini, and quite frankly, the small portion is not worth the money. Additionally, their delivery person was extremely rude to the building staff.

The breakfast wrap I had from Mangia Organics was delicious. I also appreciate that they don't have a $10-15 minimum for breakfast orders like a lot of other places in the area. I'll order from them again!

Food came, dressing for salad had exploded all over bag, had to call up and ask them to resend dressing. Not their fault unless the delivery guy sat on the bag or something which I doubt happened.
Anyway, I got the Harvest Salad. It was the hot fire. Great ingredients, healthy, delicious, big, not too expensive, apple cider vinigerette (most exoticist ones), and sweet potatoes? In a salad? Yea, you heard me. Run and tell dat

Their health juices are great - I especially fancy the beet and lemon juice option - but the salads and sandwiches are somewhat average. Fresh ingredients, though, so when you feel like a crisp salad or light sandwich this is a great option.

Overall good food but they forgot the dressing on my salad, so I had to get some myself elsewhere and it was a bit of a frustrating experience.

Solid spot for lunch delivery if you work nearby. Food was prepared fresh. Delivery was prompt. And the meal was pretty darn good. We didn't order anything crazy. All four of us ordered sandwiches. However, we were all very pleased with all of them.

AMAZING! Food is fresh tasting and delicious. Fills you up without the guit. This is my new favorite lunch place and I have a feeling that will last a while! Very happy someone finally opened up an organic lunch haunt in Midtown. (Mangia no less).

TERRIBLE - got the shrimp cesar salad - the shrimp were frozen and tiny, the croutons were nothing but chopped, stale bread, the parmesan was straight out of a can....so bad!!

Everything was excellent. My only complaint is that there was some gristle that wasn't removed from the chicken. It can really ruin a meal for me when I bite into a piece of gristle and feel like thowing up. So I hope that will be corrected and I can give 5 stars - thanks.
